levorphanol, n. Pharm.|liːˈvɔːfənɒl| [f. levo- + morphine n. + -ane + -ol.] A narcotic analgesic drug more potent and longer-lasting than morphine, usually administered as the hydrogen tartrate; (-)-3-hydroxy-N-methylmorphinan.
