Carey Roxburgh's Flora Indica (1824) II. 181), f. the name of William Leycester (fl. 1820), Chief Justice of Bengal + -ia1.] A shrub of the genus so called, belonging to the family Caprifoliaceæ, native to India, and bearing yellow or purple flowers; also called Himalayan honeysuckle or pheasant-berry.
