‖ yatra, n. India.|ˈjɑːtrɑː| Also 9 Jatra, 9– Yatra. [Skr. yātrā, f. yā to go, undertake an expedition.] a. Chiefly in Bengal: a theatrical entertainment or song recital staged during a religious festival. b. More generally, a pilgrimage or procession; a festival.
