lientery Path.|ˈlaɪəntərɪ| Also 6 lyentery, 7 lienterie, lyantery, 7–8 lientary, 8 -ory; and in L. form lienteria. [ad. F. lienterie, ad. mod.L. līenteria, ad. Gr. λειεντερία, f. λεῖος smooth + ἔντερα bowels.] A form of diarrhœa, in which the food passes through the bowels partially or wholly undigested; an instance or kind of this.
