A flexible tube containing two solutions which emit light as the result of a chemical reaction when they are mixed (by bending the tube and breaking a compartment containing one of the solutions).
The light is produced by chemoluminescence of a fluorescent dye, activated typically by the reaction of hydrogen peroxide and a phenyl oxalate ester.
