Liptauer, liptauer|ˈlɪptaʊər| Also Liptai, Liptau, Liptoi. [G., f. Liptó place-name in Czechoslovakia.] A soft cheese originally made in Hungary, usu. coloured and flavoured with paprika and other seasonings. Also attrib.
