lorilet, n. Ornith.|ˈlɒrɪlɛt, lɒrɪˈlɛt| [f. lory n. + -let.] Any of several very small, mainly green, short-tailed parrots of the genera Opopsitta and Psittaculirostris, native to the rainforests of north-east Australia and New Guinea. Also called fig-parrot.
