‖ zygopleura, n. pl. Morphol.|zaɪgəʊˈplʊərə, zɪg-| [mod.L., f. Gr. ζυγόν yoke + πλευρά side.] Organic forms having bilateral symmetry, with either two or four antimeres or corresponding opposite parts (dipleura, tetrapleura). Hence zygoˈpleural a., having bilateral symmetry.
