æthrioscope|ˈiːθrɪəskəʊp| [f.Gr. αἰθρία the open sky + -σκοπός, -σκοπίον an observer.] An instrument invented by Sir John Leslie to indicate the variations of solar radiation. 1832Nat.Philos. II. iv. 44 (U.K.S.) The æthrioscope of Leslie is another modification of the differential thermometer.
