ˈœstrual, a. [irreg. f. œstrus + -al1; app. by association with menstrual, menstruate, etc.] Pertaining to or affected by an œstrus; œstrous. So ˈœstruate v., to be affected by an œstrus, to be in heat, to rut; ˈœstruation, rutting.
