maasbanker|ˈmasˌbaŋkər, mɔsˈbɔŋkər| Also maasbancker, maasbank, marsbanker, masbanker, massbanker. [Afrikaans, f. Du. marsbanker mossbunker.] The South African name for the scad or horse mackerel, Trachurus trachurus.
