‖ majorat Continental Law.|maʒɔra| [Fr., ad. med.L. mājōrātus (u-stem), f. L. mājōr-em major a. in the sense ‘elder’: see -ate1.] The right of primogeniture; also, an estate attached to the right of primogeniture.
