[ad. late L. mammothrept-us (Augustine), a. Gr. µαµµόθρεπτος brought up by one's grandmother, f. µάµµη grandmother + θρεπτός vbl. adj., f. τρέϕειν to bring up.]
A spoilt child; a nursling.
