Rentenmark|ˈrɛntənmɑːk| [Ger., f. renten securities: see mark n.2] A unit of currency introduced in Germany in November 1923 and tied to the nation's industrial and agricultural resources; in 1924 it was replaced by the reichsmark (see Reich).
