Marotic, a.|məˈrɒtɪk| [f. the name of Clément Marot (see below) + -ic; cf. Fr. marotique (1585).] Of or relating to the French poet Clément Marot (1496–1544), whose work is noted for its light, graceful style; characteristic of Marot or his style.
