‖ massoola(h|mæˈsuːlə| Forms: 7 musoola, 7, 9 mussoola, 8 (mausolo), 9 (masuli), muss-, mas(s)ulah, mussoolah, 8–9 mas(s)oola, massoolah. [Of obscure origin: see conjectures in Yule.] A large surf-boat used for conveying passengers and goods between ships and the shore on the Coromandel coast. Often massoolah-boat.
