ante-temple|ˈæntɪtɛmp(ə)l| [ad. med.L. ante-templum, f. ante before + templum temple, transl. Gr. πρόνᾱος pronaos.] The portico of an ancient temple or of a Christian church; also applied to the ante-nave of a church.
