ˈmeldrop Sc. and north. dial. Also 5 myl-, 9 mildrop. [a. ON. mél-dropi drop or foam from a horse's mouth.] 1. A drop of mucus at the nose; also, the foam which falls from a horse's mouth (see Jamieson).
