mesolite Min.|ˈmɛsəʊlaɪt| [ad. G. mesolith (1816), f. Gr. µέσο-ς middle: see -lite.] A hydrated silicate of aluminium, calcium, and sodium: so named because it is chemically intermediate between natrolite and scolecite.
