mimmation Assyrian Gram.|mɪˈmeɪʃən| Also mimation. [f. Arab. mīm, name of the letter m + -ation, after nunnation.] The appending of m to the flexional vowels in Assyrian. (A characteristic of the Babylonian dialect of that language, as nunnation is of classical Arabic.)
