Gr. προπερισπώµενον, neuter pr. pple. passive of προπερισπᾶν to circumflex on the penultimate, f. πρό, pro-2 + περισπᾶν: see perispome.] a. adj. Having a circumflex accent on the penultimate syllable. b. n. A word so accented.
