Moplah Anglo-Indian.|ˈmɒplə| Also 8–9 mopla, 9 mapilla, mopilla, moplai, -lar, -lay. [a. Malayālam māppila.] One of the Muslim inhabitants of Malabar, descended from Moors and Arabs who have settled on that coast, and married Malabar women.
