‖ muga|ˈmuːgə| Also mooga, munga, moonga. [Assamese mugá.] A wild silk (of Assam) obtained from the cocoons of the Saturnia assama; also the silkworm which produces this silk. Also attrib. or adj., as muga dhoties pl., muga silk, muga (silk) worm.
