muhimbi|muːˈhɪmbɪ, muːˈwɪmbɪ| Also muhindi. [Lunyoro.] An evergreen tree, Cynometra alexandri, belonging to the family Leguminosæ and native to East Africa, or the timber obtained from it, which is also called Uganda ironwood.
