ANTU, n. Pharm.|ˈæntuː| Also Antu, antu. [f. initial and other letters of alpha-naphthylthiourea, one form of the systematic name.] An anthracene derivative used in powder form as a rodenticide, esp. against the brown rat; 1-(1-naphthyl)-2-thiourea, C11H10N2S .
