‖ multiflora|mʌltɪˈflɔərə| [L. fem. (sc. rosa) of multiflōrus multiflorous.] In full, multiflora rose. A rose belonging to the species Rosa multiflora, which is native to Japan and bears clusters of white or pink flowers, or one of the varieties developed from it; also used attrib. to designate a plant bearing several flowers on one stem.
