[ad. L. murr(h)inus, f. murra (see murra); cf. late Gr. µόρρινος (used subst. in fem. µορρίνη), f. µορρία, µόρρια. The form myrrhine represents the corrupt readings L. myrrhinus, late Gr. µύρρινος, which occur in some editions of the texts.]
A. adj. Made of or pertaining to murra. murrhine glass: a modern fancy name for a delicate ware brought from the East, and made of fluor-spar.
