‖ namaste, n. and int. India.|ˈnɑːmæsteɪ| Also namasthe. [Hindi, ad. Skr. námas, bowing, obeisance + te dat. of tuam, you (sing.).] A. n. A salutatory gesture made by bringing the palms together before the face or chest and bowing. Also attrib.
