‖ nazir|ˈnɑːzɪr| Also 7 -ar, -er. [a. Pers. or Urdū (from Arab.) nāẓir superintendent, inspector, etc. f. naẓar sight, vision.] The title of various officials in Muslim countries; a native official in Anglo-Indian courts.
