apiocrinite Palæont.|æpɪˈɒkrɪnaɪt| [mod. f. Gr. ἄπι-ον pear + κρίν-ον lily + -ite, after encrinite.] The ‘pear-encrinite,’ a stalked echinoderm of the Oolite, so called from its shape.
