apocalyptist|əˌpɒkəˈlɪptɪst| [f. Gr. ἀποκαλύπτ-ειν (see above) + -ist.] The writer of the Apocalypse. Also, the writer of any apocalyptic work; the writer of a commentary on the Apocalypse.
