1. Of or pertaining to a siege; esp. in obsidional crown (obsidional coronet, obsidional garland, obsidional wreath), tr. L. corōna obsidiōnālis, a wreath of grass or weeds conferred as a mark of honour upon a Roman general who raised a siege. obsidional coins, coins struck in a besieged city to supply the want of current coins.
