Olivetan|ɒlɪˈviːtən| [From Monte Oliveto (or Uliveto) near Siena, the site of the mother convent: see -an; in F. olivétain.] One of an order of monks founded in 1313 by John Tolomei of Siena, and subjected to the Benedictine rule.
