orthonormalize, v. Math.|ˌɔːθəʊˈnɔːməlaɪz| [f. prec. + -ize.] trans. To make (a set of vectors or functions) orthonormal by orthogonalizing them and then multiplying each by an appropriate factor. Hence ˌorthonormaˈlization.
