pacifist, n. and a.|ˈpæsɪfɪst| [ad. F. pacifiste: see -ist, pacificist.] A. n. A proponent or advocate of pacifism; one who believes in resort to peaceful alternatives to war as means of settling disputes. Also in Comb., as pacifist-minded adj.
