Palm Beach
The name of a coastal resort in Florida, U.S.A., used to designate a kind of light-weight fabric used for clothing. Also attrib., as Palm Beach cloth, Palm Beach suit.
Palm Beach is a proprietary name in the U.S. in this sense.
