ˌpalæocereˈbellum Anat. Also (chiefly U.S.) paleo-. [mod.L., f. palæo-, paleo- b + cerebellum.] A phylogenetically older portion of the cerebellum, comprising mainly the anterior lobe, pyramid, and uvula.
