paralic, a. Geol.|pəˈrælɪk| [ad. G. paralisch (C. F. Naumann Lehrb. d. Geognosie (1852) II. ii. vii. 452), f. Gr. παράλ-ιος by the sea (see paralian): see -ic.] Formed or having occurred in shallow water near the sea.
