A monoamine oxidase inhibitor used in the treatment of benign hypertension, usu. in the form of the hydrochloride, a white crystalline powder; N-methyl-N-prop-2-ynylbenzyl-amine, C6H5CH2N(CH3)CH2C{vddd}CH.
