patroclinous, a. Biol.|pætrəʊˈklaɪnəs| [f. Gr. πατήρ, πατρ- father + κλίν-ειν to lean + -ous.] Resembling the male rather than the female parent in inherited characters; involving or possessing a tendency to inherit a character or characters from the male parent only. So ˈpatrocliny, patroclinous inheritance.
