Peabody U.S.|ˈpiːbɒdɪ| The name Peabody used absol. or attrib. in Peabody bird to designate the white-throated sparrow, Zonotrichia albicollis, whose call is said to resemble ‘Sam Peabody, Peabody, Peabody’.
