pectoriloquy Path.|pɛktəˈrɪləkwɪ| [ad. F. pectoriloquie, f. L. pectus, pector- breast + -loquium speaking.] The transmission of the sound of the voice through the wall of the chest to the ear in auscultation; usually a sign of a cavity or some other affection in the lung.
