Pellegrini-Stieda Med.|ˌpɛlɛgriːnɪˈʃtiːdə| The names of Augusto Pellegrini (c 1880–c 1940), Italian physician, and Alfred Stieda (1869–1945), German physician, used attrib. and in the possessive to designate a condition described by them in 1905 and 1908 respectively, in which ossification of the tibial collateral ligament of the knee occurs as a result of injury.
