peninsular, a. (n.)|pɪˈnɪnsjʊlə(r)| [f. L. type *pæninsulār-is: cf. F. péninsulaire (1556 in Hatz.-Darm.): see prec. and -ar.] Of, belonging to, or of the nature of a peninsula.
