pentacrinoid, a. and n. Zool.|pɛnˈtækrɪnɔɪd| [f. as prec. + -oid.] a. adj. Allied to or resembling the genus Pentacrinus or family Pentacrinidæ of crinoids (chiefly extinct, and found as fossils). b. n. = A pentacrinoid crinoid.
