percenter Also per center, per-center. [f. per cent phr. (n.) + -er1.] Following a number (occas. with hyphen): that on (or from) which a percentage (specified by the number) is reckoned; a chance, situation, etc., the value of which is reckoned as a specified percentage. Also, one who lends or deals in money involving a certain rate of interest or commission.
