peucedanin Chem.|pjuːˈsɛdənɪn| [f. Peucedan-um (see prec.) + -in1.] A neutral substance (C12H12O3) contained in the root of masterwort, Peucedanum (Imperatoria) Ostruthium, and other umbelliferous plants; also called imperatorin.
