phacoid, a. rare—0.|ˈfækɔɪd| [ad. mod.L. phacoïdēs (applied by Vesalius to the crystalline lens), in F. phacoïde, f. Gr. ϕακός lentil: see -oid.] Lentil-shaped. Hence phaˈcoidoscope = phacoscope.
