phaˈlangigrade, a. Zool. [ad. mod.L. Phalangigrad-us, f. as prec. + L. gradus step; cf. digitigrade, plantigrade.] Walking on the phalanges; belonging to the (now disused) division Phalangigrada, comprising the camel and llama.
