F. phlegmasie.] Inflammation, esp. inflammation accompanied by fever. phlegmasia dolens, or phlegmasia alba dolens, inflammation of the veins of the leg, with severe pain, swelling, hardness, and whiteness, occurring in women after childbirth; also called milk-leg or white-leg.
